England Athletics national clubs survey

England Athletics do an annual survey; following on from spring consultation meetings, they have now opened up an online survey for voting.  They take the results of this seriously, so it is important to get your opinions counted.  You can access it at:

For background, you might want to read the web-page summarising the Consultation meetings (and in particular, the piece on the financial situation, which is not great):

Junior parkrun at Little Stoke

You may be interested to know that junior parkrun will be starting in Bristol this month.

This is a shorter version of the adult event comprising a free to enter timed 2k run for children between 4 and 14. It will take place every Sunday morning at Little Stoke park at 9am.

The test event is this Sunday with the first full event on Sunday 29th June. The intention is then to run the event every Sunday morning.

The team are still looking for volunteers to help with running the first two events. If any of you are free it would be great if you could help them get off to a positive start.

If you can help out on either the 22 or 29 June please e-mail littlestoke-juniorshelpers@parkrun.com to let them know. It's expected that you would have to arrive between 8-815 and be finished before 10 but exact timings will be advised by the event director for the day.
