Charity Run and Cake Sale – Thanks

Thank you to everyone who made Monday's charity 'hash' and cake sale such a success.  I've not heard how much we made yet, but there were lots of cakes changing hands, and with the gate money and additional donations there should  be a significant contribution going to the Bristol Area Kidney Patients Association.  Thanks also to Mike McAllister for coming along and telling us about the work of the charity.

Monday Night – Charity Cake Sale and Club Hash

Don't forget that next Monday (22nd) is our charity night:  we're donating all gate money to charity, and having a bring and buy cake sale, so please bring some spare cash, and if possible some home made cakes.

We also have a club run for this, our last night at Blaise Castle.   This year we're trying a 'hash' - a group run where no-one knows where the course goes, and the leaders have to find the route (there are plenty of false trails to slow them down and keep the pack together).  Click here for a short guide to the markings and what to do.

Youngsters: Please would under 12s run with a parent or designated adult; and under 16s run at least in pairs.

Blaise Blazer Race 3 results

A soggy night at Blaise welcomed runners for the final Blaize Blazer race of 2016.

The conditions meant that the course records were safe and the race winner was Aidan Noble of Westbury Harriers in a time of 23.40 whilst in the women's race it was Fiona Marks of Bristol and West who led home the field in a time of 26.40.
