London Marathon club draw

If you've been unsuccessful in getting a place for the 2017 London Marathon, the club has this year been granted 4 places (thanks to our partner club Yate AC for their place). The eligibility and rules for the draw are as follows:

- only fully paid-up members of Westbury Harriers and Yate AC are eligible.
- priority will go members who didn't get a club place for the 2016 London Marathon and can prove that they applied again unsuccessfully this year.
- otherwise, priority goes to members who didn't get a place this year.

To enter the club draw send an email with proof of your rejection (if applicable) to club secretary Geraint Torrington  - , see him at training on Monday nights (he's running with the reception groups at the moment) or send details to 41A Sherbourne Avenue, Bradley Stoke, Bristol, BS32 8DX.

The draw will be made at training on Monday, December 12th

If you're using Sat Nav, don't forget to aim for the Penlan Leisure Centre in Brecon (LD3 9SR) - don't let it take you to Swansea (where they also have a Penlan Leisure Centre) - you wouldn't be the first!

The 3rd Gwent League, on Saturday 3rd December, will be our home fixture at Blaise Castle.  As well as a bumper turn-out, we'll also be looking for volunteers to help marshal / mark the course / serve teas / park cars etc.
