Event sold out – we regret that there are no places remaining.
The Trustford Westbury Wipeout is a challenging multi-terrain adventure run for juniors aged between eight and 15, taking them on a tour of the woods, streams and hills of the Blaise Castle Estate.
The event is 3k (2k for eight- and nine-year- olds) and includes a long downhill section, some scrambling up banks and slopes, and plenty of splashing through water and across mud, rocks, roots and steps. The course is fully marshalled.
Survivors will have to overcome ‘Roman Ramparts’, the ‘Descent of Doom’, ‘Shark Lagoon’, ‘Ditch of Destruction’, ‘Crocs Leap’, ‘Hills of Torment’, ‘Trolls Bridge’ and ‘Scramble of Hope’… (check out our survivors route map).
The event is not timed - the Wipeout is about adventure, challenge and fun. Once you start, the only way out is on your own two feet!
All participants will receive a commemorative T shirt.
Please collect your race pack from 6pm on the night at the Westbury Harriers club house (adjacent to the main car park and playground at Blaise Castle). Numbers will not be posted out.
The car park may be busy, so please arrive in plenty of time to be able to register and warm up. The warm up starts at 7.15 pm, and the run starts at 7.30 pm.
There will be no entries on the day. Adults cannot enter the race or run with the participants.
Please read the instructions for participants and water health advice before entering the event.
